Cinemadamare!!
A traveling filmmaking campus that, week by week all through the summer, makes its way through small towns and cities throughout Italy, splitting up into groups and making short films in competition! Leggett has applied! They also have a "Main Competition" festival -- To Fondle Nothing is in contention! They asked for a short, introductory cell phone video, and have posted them on Instagram and Facebook:

Welter (University of Baltimore), the Welter 55 Contest: to celebrate its 55th year, the magazine is publishing 55 pieces of exactly 55 words each, over the span of a year. Among them was Charles's limerick sequence, "To a Woman Whose Online Dating Profile Admonishes, 'I am an expert at being single. I do it well.'"

Charles Leggett's poetry short, To Fondle Nothing, is an Official Selection in 16 film festivals in the U.S. (New York, Pennsylvania, Florida and Colorado), the U.K., France, Portugal, Italy, Serbia, Turkey, and Sweden. It has won awards in four monthly/bimonthly festivals, as well as reaching final and semi-finals rounds. In mid-October, Charles traveled to Milford, PA, for the film's North American premiere at the Black Bear Film Festival, and a month later, visited beautiful Belgrade, Serbia, for the film's European premiere at MikroFAF -- International DIY and Indie Short Film Festival.
